Overview
What is a Ultra-Filtration Plant?
Our ultrafiltration systems utilise outside-in or inside-out hollow-fibre modules with a 0.01–0.1 µm pore rating to remove bacteria, viruses, colloids, and large organics without chemicals. Designed as a robust pre-treatment stage upstream of RO or as a standalone polishing unit, UF plants provide consistent SDI ≤ 3 effluent that protects high-pressure membrane systems.
Key Features
- 0.01–0.1 µm hollow-fibre membranes — 4-log virus and 6-log bacteria removal
- Integrity-tested modules with individual dead-end or cross-flow operation modes
- Chemical-enhanced backwash (CEB) and clean-in-place (CIP) automation
- SDI outlet ≤ 3, suitable as direct RO pre-treatment
